"Kult-chair," is the latest release from Los Angeles based, four-piece, Mind Monogram via Cosmica Records. This is their third single following 2019's, "11:11" and "Chasing Rabbits." Both of which have some pretty neat videos. I'm already anticipating the video for "Kult-Chair."
This new song took me on a pretty eerie ride fueled by floating, outer-space, staring at the stars, walking-down-a-long-winding-road-contemplating-life type vibes. It posses a blend of subliminal hi-hats, escalating energy, and vocals from two separate worlds. One world giving you the sense of, "hey everything is going to be ok," and the other ominous world, "we've got a dark secret for you." What's the dark secret? The dark secret lies behind the lyrics and their meaning.
"The song is about Human Trafficking. The fact that this even takes place is maddening. 'Kult Chair' is a play on words for both 'Culture' representing the victims who are often from foreign countries & 'Cult Chair' representing the ominous and unethical people behind Human Trafficking and everything related to it. #Epsteindidntkillhimself "
