La Zorra Zapata is out with a new single titled “Oficio” and she join Bilingual Sounds host and Brand Manager Byron Gonzalez for an interview.
La Zorra Zapata is the solo musical project from Peruvian songwriter Nuria Zapata. Nuria is a multidisciplinary artist, with background in visual arts, acting, modeling, but “has chosen music as the definitive component of her disciplines” -bio. Her presentation for Bilingual Sounds was a solo performance with her loop station.
La Zorra Zapata has released two albums, and is previewing singles from an upcoming third album “Quema o llumina”
Performing the single “lluvia y nieve”, Zapata explains the inspiration in the interview with Byron Gonzalez; “Yeah, it's like I wanted to do a song that talks about the duality of life. You know, there's a lot of points in your life when you have to choose A or B, you know, and it's not one thing better than the other, but it's just a path that you have to choose. And that path will take you to another one. And you know, it's like, yeah. So it's a song that talks about that. To choose one path you. Lluvia or nieve.”
