José González - Heartbeats

Hola, this is Rob Romero. I'm the host of Curso Nocturno, Tuesdays | 8PM - 10PM PT - and this is one of my favorite music videos of all time.

José González, born in Sweden to Argentine parents who fled after the 1976 coup, was once a PhD student in biochemistry before turning to music.

Here, he covers The Knife’s Heartbeats with a stripped-down acoustic version. The video is a mesmerizing answer to a question you didn’t know you had — what happens when 250,000 bouncy balls are released down San Francisco’s hillside streets in slow motion? The combined results are pure magic!
